Site Council
The Site Council is a vital part of our school’s governance, comprising school administrators, appointed staff, community members, and elected family representatives.
We meet monthly to discuss and make decisions on important matters affecting our school community with full commitment to providing transparency and engaging collaboration.
Everyone is welcome at the meetings and we would love to hear from you!

Friends of TOPS (FOT) is the fundraising organization managed by family members and caregivers of children enrolled in TOPS. It is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible non-profit, administered by the TOPS Site Council. Our Tax ID is 94-3142402. The Site Council acts as the Friends of TOPS Board of Directors. We support both curriculum enhancements and community building projects, so that our faculty and staff have the resources they need to provide a complete educational experience for our kids.
-
In order to provide funding to programs, the Site Council opens a program proposal submission window in the spring of every year. Requests from the TOPS community can be submitted for funding consideration in the following school year - in other words, program proposals received this spring will be considered for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Requests will be reviewed and the budget approved by the Site Council, acting as the Friends of TOPS Board.
-
We begin accepting program proposals on February 25 through April 22, 2025 for the 2025-26 school year. While there is not a strict list of requirements for funding proposals, the Friends of TOPS Board will have guided discussion to reach funding decisions. Friends of TOPS members also recognize that no two school years are the same and the needs of our community cannot always be anticipated months in advance. Should programs need to be cancelled, reallocations of funds may take place in order to better serve our students.
